I was told that I will regret it if I don't take pictures throughout my pregnancy so in honor of fathers day I had Dallin take a few pics. I am getting anxious for the next 3 months to pass and in all honestly I am not sure it is really happening. I can't picture a baby at the end of this. I can't picture myself as a Mom. When I walk into the room which will be the nursery it doesn't feel like it will happen. Is that normal?? I think it may be because it feels like FOREVER away and I am a nervous nelly. I know she will be here soon enough but it certainly doesn't feel real. I am feeling pretty good. I LOVE that I am feeling her movements more. She is active in the middle of the night and I actually enjoy laying in bed and feelings the kicks and punches. Any advice to make the time pass quickly? I am doing all I can to force myself to wait till end of July/early August to do the nursery decorating. I go and stare at everything I have put away in the closet and I have to force myself out of the room so I don't go decorating crazy :)

22 weeks
We took this picture with my camera phone before church Sunday. Not the best picture but it gives you an idea. Let me ask you this...does the 2nd half of pregnancy go by fast? I am so excited to meet our baby girl!
This might be jumping the gun
We ordered our crib off the Internet so we were nervous what we may end up with. So the question is... is 3 1/2- 4 months pushing it on setting it up? We really wanted to make sure we like what we received so we set it up. Now I just want to go nuts and finish the whole nursery for the little babe!

Pics of the little miss
These are some of the ultra sound pics from Tuesday. Dallin asked afterward with a concerned look to his face, do you think she is... you know...ok? She kind of looked like an alien. Yes I know this is not the most flattering because she would not move her hands from her mouth and if you look close her eye brows are squinted down like she is ticked off and has had enough show and tell for one day. Since this is my first experience at this I have to say I fell in love and as alien as she may appear she is the love of my life already.
I am sure she would have no dignity left if she knew I posted her privates but it is just so exciting!
This pic below is the damage I caused within an hour after of knowing we were having a baby girl...

Here she comes...
I know not many people check our blog out due to the fact that it is still new but we got the news today that our baby is a GIRL!! YEAH!!! Everything looked wonderful! I have to go back for another ultra sound because my placenta was close to my cervix (might be Too Much Info). Hopefully as I grow out it will move away to a more comforting spot. The little babe was amazing and I pray we will continue to be blessed with the sweet thing and no problems will occur. Right now she is laying more in my back which explains why I don't look so large. Well there is the update! So far so good!

and so it begins...
This blogging thing is a very brave thing I am doing. Mostly because I am superstitious and do not want to jinx myself in anyway with this baby thing. It has been an interesting 4 months to say the least. I think that my friends and family will be thankful for Tuesday when we receive our 20 week ultrasound. To say I am a "nervous nelly" would be an understatement. To say I am psychotic might be the more appropriate wording. In a nut shell Dallin is happy the hormones are evening out...one minute laughing, one minute bawling (not just a tear or two). He is also happy my appetite is back since I think he feels like he lives in a 3rd world country where food runs sparse. Poor man had to come to his mom's for food and loves since the last thing I wanted to get around smelly foods and give anyone extra TLC. Harley too has been neglected. We went on our first walk last week. Half a block and I thought I was going to have to carry my obese dog home.
Things have turned around the last few weeks! I LOVE LOVE LOVE to eat, I spend most my days apologising to Dallin for the roller coaster I put him through and I am starting to get spring fever (although today it feels like December). I think I may be feeling little flutters off and on. I wait patiently to see if it ends in gas which most the time it does. Ohhh the joy's of womenhood! Well, that is the update on us...hopefully we will be a little more exciting this 2nd time around!
Good luck to you and your families!
